Not restyling screens. Making products coherent.

I come in when a product, or a group of products, has grown complex, inconsistent, or unclear, and I make it coherent again. Not as a designer hired to restyle a screen, but as the person who investigates the real problems, sets the direction, builds the process and the team, and owns it through delivery.

Discovery & system analysis

I investigate how the product actually behaves, find the gap between what is assumed and what is real, and reframe the problem before anyone designs a solution. Requirements analysis, system investigation, root-cause and gap analysis.

Redesign & consolidation strategy

I turn fragmented products and inconsistent interfaces into one structured system, with a clear direction, a roadmap, and a prioritized backlog the team can build from.

Process & delivery ownership

I set up the workflow, requirements, and the activities for designers, engineers, and QA, then stay to own the product as it grows. I run the program; I don't hand it off.

Analytical, data-driven, hands-on

I ground product decisions in user research, behavioral analytics, and system investigation rather than opinion, and I build the analytics and process a team needs to find problems and prioritize them by real impact.

In practice this means decomposing a vague request into structured work, tracing a flow to its root issue, documenting actual versus expected behavior, and turning findings into action items engineers can ship from.

One case that shows the whole arc

Redesigning a 25-year-old media-intelligence platform

From one designer and analyst to a four-year program: discovery, strategy, a unified design system across three products, and a modern multi-platform system now serving 30,000+ users.

UI/UX Director & Design Product Manager
Media intelligence & Big Data analytics · via AgileEngine
Came in as a single designer and analyst on a 25-year media-monitoring platform and grew the engagement into a multi-year design program: discovery, a unified design system across three products, a multi-platform redesign, and an AI feature release (smart alerting, NLP summarisation, LLM-based chat) on the same foundation. Built and ran a 10+ person design org; four designers promoted to Lead. Now acting Product Owner: backlog, requirements and priorities for a platform adopted by 30,000+ users.

I research how AI can evaluate interface quality: a retrieval-based (RAG) system that reconstructs expert UX judgement from a corpus of real, human-authored expert evaluations, grounded in Nielsen heuristics, ISO 9241, and WCAG 2.1. Recently presented at the international DPMMT-2026 conference.

Collects structured expert UX evaluations toward a model for automated heuristic interface analysis. The same direction runs through my product work, my study, and this platform.
